The continued imprisonment of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his deteriorating health in the custody of the Nigerian Department of State Services (DSS) remains a matter of grave concern.
In a statement on Wednesday, a pro-Biafra group — Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) expressed concern over the refusal of the Federal Government of Nigeria to allow Kanu access to his personal doctor.
Any harm that befall the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra will trigger a war in Nigeria, said MASSOB in the statement by its National Leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu.
The group described as insensitive and careless, the manner at which the deteriorating health of Nnamdi Kanu is being handled by the Nigerian government.
The pathological hatred of Biafra by President Muhammadu Buhari will not stop actualization of a sovereign state of Biafra, MASSOB said.
Comrade Madu urged Biafra people to remain unshakable and not to derail in efforts to achieve Biafra independence.
