The head of the Directorate of State for the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr Chika Edoziem, has disclosed fresh plan for the self-determination movement led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Edoziem who spoke January 1, 2023 on Radio Biafra, said:
“We will begin this year with the renewal of our oath in all level.
“There will be a process and a procedure to be followed for this. No shoe on the feet and no cap on the head for men. Must be done individually, not as a group.
“Any new member to this movement must undergo this process before he or she become a member.”
His statement followed what he said was sabotage by some members of the separatist group.
At the new year broadcast, the head of DOS also disclosed that efforts are underway to secure the release of detained IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.
He urged members and supporters of IPOB to remain peaceful, noting that Biafra independence will be achieved diplomatically as stated by Mr. Kanu.
