Biafra: Igbo governors, others dragged to court for proscription of IPOB

Aloy Ejimakor, the special counsel for Nnamdi Kanu the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has commenced a suit against the South-East Governors Forum and other Igbo leaders.

The lawyer commenced the suit for their role in early proscription of IPOB.

Ejimakor filed last Friday— January 13, 2023.





Meanwhile, in a tweet on Sunday Ejimakor who have repeatedly condemned the incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu whom court had acquitted and ordered his release, stated that the refusal by the federal government of Nigeria to release him is of part of “sinister plot” against people of the eastern Nigeria.

According to him, the plot is targeted at putting the Igbo people in a different place as Nigeria farcically careens into the 2023 general elections. But it will boomerang, he said.
