Governor Nyesom Wike has advised the people of Rivers State to vote for candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming election, except the party's presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
The governor spoke at a PDP rally in Ikwerre Local Government of the State, saying talks on which presidential candidate to adopt, is underway among the G5 governors.
He said all votes will go for PDP governorship and House of Assembly candidates in Rivers State, but the people will be told which presidential candidate to vote for in the February 2023 elections in Nigeria.
Wike described the forthcoming election as a "fight to finish" and urged voters to resist any form of intimidation.
